I don't think that Mihawk did it, I think Asura did it. Yes, I highly respect original ideas, I will check to see if you have more videos, keep it up.

Good effort but I do think that Oda is trolling us with Zoro's eye. I don't expect him to magically open him some time later when Zoro need a stronger technique/power-up. I think that it will stay as it is, it's just a way to make him look more badass.

Oda is a troll, but Zoro's scar just can't be a simple accessory to just make Zoro look cooler. As I said in the beginning, all of Zoro's scars have a meaning for why they're there. And since the eye scar is so distinct, it shouldn't be completely meaningless.

I have to disagree and I have to say zoro leans to the tiger while sanji in my opinion leans to the dragon given his similarities to sabo who uses the dragons claw fist style of fighting adn how dragons are connected to fire like sanji and sabo are

    1. western dragons are associated with fire

    2. in revelations satan was described as a dragon form and portrayed as a dragon in some in some pieces of art like a statues etc. heck satan was originally a seraph ( the highest order of angel ) seraph means the burning ones and were said to have dragon forms/connected to dragons and sanjis inspiration is satan and he is repeatedly shown lighting himself on fire burning

    3. zoro was portrayed as a tiger in recent art pieces in asia zoro and sanji are rivals
    4. Judge's epithet is "Garuda." The Garuda was known as the bane of all dragons & serpents and sanji hates judge and judge was abusive to him and locked him up as a kid

    5. its been noted that sanj has similaritys to sabo as well as their situation and now sabo has a fire fruit and uses a style named the dragon claw fist (ryusoken) http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Ryusoken

    http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Sabo

    • Sabo is similar to Sanji as…
    • Both were born into royal families and hated their royal status.
    • Both escaped their life of royalty and ended up having a preferred life (A revolutionary for Sabo, a cook for the Baratie and the Straw Hat Pirates for Sanji).
    • Both their fathers saw them as disappointments.
    • Both were forced to marry a woman of their parents choosing.
    • Both hated their siblings.
    • Both returned back to their royal status to prevent their loved ones from getting killed and were threatened by their fathers if they did not cooperate (Luffy and Ace for Sabo, Zeff for Sanji).
    • Both had something destroyed by their fathers when they were young (The drawing Sabo had made for his father, the food Sanji prepared for a mouse).
    • Both had pirates involved in their return to their royal status (The Bluejam Pirates for Sabo, the Big Mom Pirates for Sanji).
    • Both were locked up by their fathers for showing disgrace.

they both use fire and are martial artists

(ryusoken is a handbased martial arts and sanji has a vow never use his hands in a fight hist martial art is a completely leg based martial art style )

plus it would add to the irony given that kinemon owes sanji a debt

Thanks for all this bro, it was really interesting and fun to read! I learned some things thanks to this. Your right, but only to an extent. Just because because Sanji is like a dragon, doesnt mean Zoro isnt like one too. In the video, theres a lot evidence, such as Zoro wearing kimonos with dragons, and he was drawn interestingly with dragons as well. And plus, he created fire against Ryuma. Like, actual fire. Tigers cant do that. I know Zoro is related to tigers as well though. I dont think its simply one thing or another. In Buddhist mythology, the dragon and tiger are fierce enemies, but can't exist without the other. I feel thats how it is with Zoro- in body and mind, hes a tiger. But in spirit (Asura), hes a dragon. Its just a relationship. I wanted to put that in vid to explain my point better, but I didn't want it to be long. So in short, I think were both right.

oh thanks ( also I have to point out that oda seems to be leaning to buddhism in relation to zoro and asura ( for example asuras are known for being fond of sake) and how lots of zoros attacks are references to buddhism so https://orojackson.com/threads/zoro-symbollically-represents-an-asura-from-buddhism.21997/
