The Story of Naruto for instance changed towards the mid-end of shippuuden and i got the impression that the main audience were teenagers or adults at any age. It started with the Pain arc and continued with the great shinobi war. The Story became complex and the Manga became (in my opinion) more brutal than before. I guess one reason for that was that the creator knew, that his audience is aging alongside his Manga. But with Oda i have the impression that One Piece was, is and will always be targetted towards kids. I get that impression because of character designs, arc designs(whole cake island) extreme plot armour, some weird powers of devil fruits etc. Especially since time skip i think that characters like chopper and Brook act too childish considering their ages. I really dont have a problem with luffy, since his character is just that way. But in generall i have the impression, that unlike kishimoto, oda didnt really consider that his main audience is about 20-30 maybe even older. I really just want to know what you guys think about it or am i simply exeggerating this topic?
