One Piece Luffy Gets 50 cm-Tall Statue Figure Inspired by Anime DVD Jacket Illustration Bandai Namco Group's toy company Plex has started accepting preorders for a 50 cm-tall statue figure of Monkey D. Luffy inspired by the jacket illustration of the first volume of the "One Piece Log Collection" DVD series on Bandai's official online store Premium Bandai. The DVD set including the TV anime's first 17 episodes was originally released in Japan in July 2010. The price for the item made of polystone is 86,400 yen (about 776 US dollars), and its scheduled shipping date is July 2019.
