Event Guidelines & Frequently Asked Questions

    General Guidelines

    • Your submissions must be your own work. Additionally, do not reference work that another person has done so closely that it ends up being too similar.
    • Show the hosts your page/panel every edition unless specified otherwise in that editions OP. Please do this, we don't like declining beautiful colors because we weren't consulted at all.
    • In editions where panels/pages are pre-selected, you yourself are allowed to lineart the panel if you are able to.
    • In theme based editions, you can use both linearts and manga pages (or panels)
    • Changes to a page/panel are allowed, however it's required that you let the hosts know what you're doing. Communication is key. Possible changes include panel cleaning (messy parts), minor alterations to fit panels together, and the below rule also factors in.
    • It is required you color at least 50% of a page, or a panel that appears that large enough to compensate.
    • Your entries must be anonymous, no signature, texts or other hints which may reveal the identity of the participant
    • One entry per participant

We reserve the right to decline a participant if they are ignoring any of the above rules too frequently.
    GFX Guidelines

    • Adding external layers (cropped backgrounds, textures) is not allowed and I withhold the right to request your PSD before allowing the entry if I pick up on it. Textures may be allowed in the between-panel bits, but only if applied subtly.
    • Brushing/Coloring your own backgrounds with the aid of material is allowed. However, it should be blended in to look like a color, and not look like a tag.
    • Adding in layer filter effects are allowed, this includes layer effects (such as outer glow), gradients, color balance, etc. However, if a color is blatantly over blurred or something of the sort, the color can be declined entry depending on severity
    • Extravagant brushes are tentatively allowed, however textual brushes are not. Extravagant brushes could be a brush that gives you a 1-click result. However, the idea is to make your color look like a color at it's core, so if I interpret your color as not looking that way, i'll add a note of what was used for clarity.

Many changes over time since the last one. Bounty scheming has been changed more specifically in regards to how many entries there are, and some rules have been altered.

    GFX
    ---
The GFX rules have been tinkered with, and a section added to it just for clarity so people know what they can do.

    - Adding external layers (cropped backgrounds, textures) is not allowed and I withhold the right to request your PSD before allowing the entry if I pick up on it. Textures may be allowed in the between-panel bits, but only if applied subtly.

    - Brushing/Coloring your own backgrounds with the aid of material is allowed. However, it should be blended in to look like a color, and not look like a tag.

    - Adding in layer filter effects are allowed, this includes layer effects (such as outer glow), gradients, color balance, yadayada. However, if a color is blatantly over blurred or something of the sort, that can be declined entry depending on severity

    - Extravagant brushes are tentatively allowed, however textual brushes are not. Extravagant brushes could be a brush that gives you a 1-click result. However, the idea is to make your color look like a color at it's core, so if I interpret your color as not looking that way, i'll add a note of what was used for clarity.

    General
    ---
Clarity has been given to what entrants can do with their panels:

    - Changes to a page/panel are allowed, however it's required that you let the hosts know what you're doing. Communication is key. Possible changes include panel cleaning (messy parts), minor alterations to fit panels together, and the below rule also factors in.

    - It is required you color at least 75% of a page, or a panel that appears that large enough to compensate.

*A note on SHOWING THE HOSTS YOUR PAGE/PANEL has been re-added to the top of General
