Let's say she's 14, why would it be odd or disturbing ? As far as we've seen, Pudding might be drawn attractive but she was never sexualized by Oda.

Isn't forced child marriage something awful that happens in real life ? Why wouldn't Oda be allowed to delve into stuff like that without being called or suspected of being a pedo.

I mean, we've had the Boa sisters who were slaves and much younger than Pudding, they were also sexually abused by the Celestial Dragon. Was that odd for you, or it's just a story and some real life awful stuff happen in it ?

Blegh, yea just checked it again. Did they redo the whole page, I know spoilers were getting people talking so I tried to read it specifically when it came out.
Young Pudding made much more sense.

They corrected it with a tweet by the editor. It will probably be corrected in the manga when the volume comes out.

    14yo Pudding makes sense though.

She falls in love with Sanji, heart eyes all the time. <3<3, very emotional. Also unstable, rebellious evil side.
Sanji also can't marry her because she is too young. Therefore no pedo.

No you're not crazy. That's perfectly normal and I understand that.

But it's just that this shouldn't be an outrage because it happened before and this disgusting stuff happen in the OP world.
We've seen the pinnacle of them during the Sabaody Arc, with the Celestial Dragon. So it isn't something new.

Oh I thought an assistant was continuing the series. Sucks though that Sagara wouldn't have an entry.

Aye well to me it doesn't matter how good a series is. Knowing where it came from ruins it completely for me.

Damn, I was so devastated because I love Rurouni Kenshin so much :( I read the chapters and it looked promising, although I must say I agree with most of the comments here.
My opinion before mangaka fiasco, was that Kenshin needs to be left alone. I always envisioned he would spend the rest of his days in peace, not this :shifty: Still, I was excited to see old characters.
If somebody else continues it, I will probably read it.

I agree with the bold, the story did not need a sequel. The bold should have instead happened. It shows in the sequel story as the driving force behind the plot is Kaoru trying to find her father which in itself happens because of a very far-fetched coincidence. This made the sequel story forced to me.

Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc Manga Resumes in June

The official website of Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine announced on Monday that Nobuhiro Watsuki's Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc manga will resume in the magazine's July issue on June 4. The manga went on hiatus last December following Watsuki being charged for possession of child pornography. Watsuki was later fined 200,000 yen (about US$1,900) in February.

The announcement noted that Watsuki is living a life of reflection and atonement, but that Shueisha and Watsuki decided that continuing the manga to answer the desires of fans was a matter of duty.

    $1900 is a joke

How dare he even say that

The desires of fans is bullshit, it should be their desire and duty to end Watsuki and Shueisha
