    Patch 1.0.8

    Experience Update

We’ve reduced the experience it requires to level up significantly, especially at higher levels. Some of you may have been bumped up a level due to having leftover experience.

We’ve also increased the experience you gain overall by 33%.

I've also changed exp costs for character upgrades

    Recruitment Changes
Due to simply creating a bio doesn’t mean people will participate in the RP, we are changing the requirements for recruitment rewards.

    Stage 1
    Awards 2000 EXP
Requires that your recruit makes a bio AND submits a full fight for review.

    Stage 2
    Awards 3000 EXP
Requires that your recruit submits in total 3 fights for review.

If you’ve already gotten 2000 or 3000 EXP reward from a recruit, you will not be eligible for the same again if they complete the new requirements.

The toys can act as aides in combat, or provide several other useful abilities.

    • Rook In Voller Größe: Big Father (城 (ルーク) イン・フォラ・グレーセ 大頭目 (ビッグ・ファーザー) Rūku In Fora Gurēse: Biggu Fāzā?, meaning "Castle at Full Size: Big Boss"): By raising his pinky and middle fingers, Bege transforms his entire body into a gigantic, heavily armed and fortified fortress-like golem. The golem has a large number of cannons that can fire from various points in its body. The golem has immense defensive power, and can easily resist cannonfire, and is resilient enough to withstand being smashed apart by an enraged Big Mom, who could easily destroy cities and sink battleships, for a limited period of time. However, it is still Bege's body and any damage done to it still injures him, and should it be destroyed, Bege himself will die and anyone within will be thrown out into the open.[5] (requires 81 mastery)

    81-99 Excellent Mastery -

The Ope Ope no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows its user to create a spherical space or "room", in which the user has complete control over the placement and orientation of the objects inside, making the user a Free Modification Human. Room diameter equals mastery/2. These devil fruit techniques are of course scaled in speed to devil fruit mastery and it is possible to avoid them with greater speed.
    • ROOM (ROOM (ルーム) Rūmu?): The precursor to all of Law's techniques, Law creates a spherical space around his targets, in which he can manipulate anything he wants in a variety of ways; he cannot perform any of his other techniques outside of this spherical area. He can hold off on the activation of his ROOM by creating a small circle around his hand,[2] which later will expand to form the ROOM itself.[22] The size of the ROOM can vary from a few meters wide to surrounding entire buildings and mountains, although larger ROOMs require more effort to maintain. The color of the ROOM is transparent, with only the boundaries visible in a light blue aura, so Law can keep his ROOM unnoticed by enemies if he expands it to a size beyond their line of sight.[17] (requires 1 mastery)

    • Amputate (切断 (アンピュテート) Anpyutēto?, literally meaning "Severance"): Law's basic offensive technique. Law cleanly cuts his target without actually harming them. In order to cut something, it's durability has to be less than or equal to the user's mastery. (requires 21 mastery, 11 blade martial arts)

    • Radio Knife (ラジオナイフ Rajio Naifu?): An advanced version of Amputate. Law charges his sword with electricity in a similar manner to his Counter Shock move and then quickly slashes his enemy, which results in the target being separated into several segments while also suffering an electric shock. The cutting itself, like Law's regular slash attacks, is not harmful; however, it differs from them as it prevents the target from briefly being able to reattach their own body, and is meant to be a counter to any abilities where one can re-assemble themselves from Law's original amputation abilities.[25] A radio knife is a surgical instrument that uses a high-frequency electric arc to cut away or through tissue. (requires 31 mastery, 21 blade martial arts, 21 strength) - DPR: C

    • Shambles (シャンブルズ Shanburuzu?): Within the space created with ROOM, Law can switch the places of any object inside the space. Interestingly, it is shown that he can bring objects to himself without the need for switching with another object. He can also use this move to switch himself with other objects in order to dodge attacks or for transportation purposes. (requires 61 mastery)

    • Personality Transplant Surgery (人格移植手術 Jinkaku Ishoku Shujutsu?): the user uses Shambles to swap non-physical items such as souls, effectively putting one person in another one's body, though before he can do this he needs to do a thrusting motion at each person, to bring their "heart" out,[4] although if the 'hearts' are already not in the original body he simply needs to make a gesture without the thrusting motion. (requires 71 mastery)

    • Takt (タクト Takuto?): Law uses his ability to levitate an object within his ROOM in a telekinetic manner. To use this technique, Law performs a lifting motion with his index finger (by pointing upwards). (requires 61 mastery)

    • Scan (スキャン Sukyan?): Law scans people inside his ROOM by imbuing his sword with the fruit's energy and beaming it through the crowd, using it much like an x-ray machine. This allows him to see the location of any items on the scanned people, selectively swapping away any items they may have on their person. (requires 71 mastery)

    • Mes (メス Mesu?): Law strikes his opponent in the chest with his bare hand, causing their heart to expel out of their body, encased in a glass-like cube. This attack leaves a cube-shaped hole on the opponent's body where the heart was. It presumably tires the victim in some way, since Smoker panted heavily after Law succeeded at depriving him of his heart, although it does not kill the victim. Since all body parts severed with Law's abilities still act as if they were still intact, squeezing or beating the heart-cube inflicts great pain and internal damage to the victim, making this technique suitable for subduing and controlling people. (requires 81 mastery)

    • Counter Shock (カウンターショック Kauntā Shokku?): Law places one or both of his thumbs onto his opponent's chest and releases a strong electrical surge like a defibrillator. A countershock is an electric shock that is applied to the chest to restore the normal rhythm of the heart. (requires 41 mastery, 41 strength) - DPR: B

    • Injection Shot (注射 (インジェクション) ショット Injekushon Shotto?): While aiming at his target, Law uses his sword in order to stab them while inside room. Once the sword connects, Law makes it "fire" like a gun, making the target bleed in the aimed spot while pushing them back a fair distance. (requires 61 mastery, 21 blade martial arts, 41 strength) - DPR: A

    • Ranged Injection Shot (注射 (インジェクション) ショット Injekushon Shotto?): While aiming at his target, Law uses his sword in order to stab them from afar while inside room. Once the sword connects, Law makes it "fire" like a gun, making the target bleed in the aimed spot while pushing them back a fair distance. (requires 71 mastery, 31 blade martial arts, 41 strength) - DPR: A

    • Gamma Knife (ガンマナイフ Ganma Naifu?): This is Law's strongest technique. Law creates a short blade of energy before stabbing his opponent with it. This technique destroys his victim's internal organs without leaving any external wounds. (requires 81 mastery, 41 blade martial arts, 61 strength) - DPR: S

    • Sterben (死の刀 (ステルベン) Suteruben?, literally meaning "Blade of Death"): After using Takt on his weapon, Law makes it spin. It effectively ends up acting like a buzzsaw that cuts the opponent in a vertical motion along with purple energy that trails his sword emitted by his Radio Knife. (requires 61 mastery, 41 blade martial arts, 21 strength) - DPR: A

Range and diameter are mastery/10 meters. Anyone with "impure thoughts" (lust) towards Hancock hit by this beam will be turned into a stone statue. (requires 61 mastery)

    • Pistol Kiss (銃(ピストル)キス Pisutoru Kisu?, literally meaning "Pistol Kiss"): Hancock is able to use a projectile-like move by blowing a kiss, creating a heart-shaped bullet to fire at her victim by aiming it with her index finger. Range is mastery/5 in meters but it only hits a single target. (requires 41 mastery)

    • Slave Arrow (虜の矢(スレイブ・アロー) Sureibu Arō?, literally meaning "Arrows of Imprisonment"): Hancock breathes in deeply and kisses out a heart; similar to her Pistol Kiss, but much bigger. Range is mastery/2 in meters but it only hits a single target. (requires 81 mastery)

    • Perfume Femur (芳香脚(パフューム・フェムル) Pafyūmu Femuru?, literally translated as "Aromatic Leg"): Hancock does a handstand and spins around in order to deliver a series of kicks. Anything she strikes, whether animate or inanimate, instantly turns into stone. Unlike her other attacks, only the immediate area around the point of contact turns to stone, not the entire object. (requires 41 mastery, 41 strength) - DPR: C

      • Barrier Crash (バリアクラッシュ Baria Kurasshu?): Bartolomeo forms a transparent barrier in front of himself and launches it towards the enemy at high speed, smashing it against them. • Golden Hour (ゴールデン泡 (アワー) Gōruden Awā?, literally meaning "Golden Bubble"): Kalifa manually spreads bubbles on her victim's body, draining them of their strength and leaving their skin shiny and smooth. This also has the side effect of impairing her target's mobility, as their extremely slippery skin makes it hard for them to move around. (requires 21 mastery)

    • Bubble Master: Soap Sheep (泡使い 石鹸羊 Awatsukai Sekkenyō?, literally meaning "Bubble Tamer: Soap Sheep"): Kalifa concentrates all nearby foam and bubbles around her body. This makes her look like a sheep, due to her arching her arms around her head, resembling the ears of a sheep.[15] (requires 21 mastery)

    • Hitsuji Gumo Relax Hour (羊雲リラックス泡(アワー) Hitsuji Gumo Rirakkusu Awā?, literally meaning "Sheep Cloud Relax Bubble"): After concentrating all nearby foam with "Bubble Master: Soap Sheep", Kalifa launches it against her enemy to "clean" their strength. When the foam hits her opponent, given the name of the attack, it seems to relax their body so much they are rendered immobile. As a result of the amount of bubbles shot, it is near impossible to dodge all of them.[16] (requires 41 mastery)

    • Hitsuji Gumo Tidal Wave (羊雲大津波(タイダル・ウェイブ) Hitsuji Gumo Taidaru Uēbu?, literally meaning "Sheep Cloud Giant Tidal Wave"): Similar to "Hitsuji Gumo Relax Awa", but this time Kalifa sends all the concentrated foam in form of an enormous tidal wave to increase the difficulty of dodging the attack. (requires 61 mastery)

They can change to someone else by touching their face with their right hand and switch back to their normal state by touching their face with their left hand. Noro Noro no mi – Slow(Foxy)

81-99 Excellent Mastery - can slow characters movement and reaction by -10
    100 Supreme Mastery -
    120 Absolute Mastery - Awakening
The Noro Noro no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create and emit "Noroma Photons". Noroma Photons are microscopic particles that have yet to be understood by scientists, that significantly slow down any object the user strikes down for one turn. Beam range and diameter are equal to mastery/4.

    • Noro Noro Beam (ノロノロビーム Noro Noro Bīmu?, literally meaning "Slow Slow Beam"): Foxy's main attack wherein he shoots a beam of noroma photons at his target, slowing it down for 30 seconds. Depending on what was slowed down, Foxy can do all sorts of things while they are slowed down. These include using fired cannonballs as floating platforms to attacking opponents viciously. The beam can be reflected by a mirror.[4] In the Viz Manga and FUNimation subs and dub, this attack is called Slow-Slow Beam. This was first seen being used on Nami, Usopp, Robin, and the Barrel Tiger in the Donut Race.[1] (requires 1 mastery)

    • Kyubi Rush (九尾ラッシュ Kyūbi Rasshu?, literally meaning "Nine-Tails Rush"): Foxy delivers a flurry of punches to his opponent at a rapid speed. The actual punches aren't particularly strong, but are made more powerful by first slowing his opponent down with his Noro Noro Beam so that, when the slowing effect ends, the force of all the punches administered by Foxy is released all at once. The name of this technique is derived by the Japanese mythological Nine-Tailed fox called Kyubi, in nod to Foxy's fox motif. A side-effect during this attack is that Foxy often loops his voice whilst punching, often yelling out "Rush!" repeatedly. This is called Nine-Tails Rush in the Viz Manga and Nine-Tailed Rush in the FUNimation dub. This was first seen being used against Luffy.[6] (requires 21 mastery, 21 strength) - DPR: C

    • Noro Noro Foxy Face Bombs (ノロノロフォクシー顔爆弾(フェイスボム) Noro Noro Fokushī Feisu Bomu?, literally meaning "Slow Slow Foxy Face Bombs"): Foxy uses a cannon to fire several bombs shaped like his face towards an opponent and slows them all down with his Noro Noro Beam. While they are slowed down, Foxy can sneak alongside the bombs as they are moving. Hiding amongst the bombs, Foxy can get closer to a opponent and punch them while they are distracted by the sight of the moving bombs. The bombs then all explode at once in a massive blast after they regain normal speed. In the Viz Manga, this is called Slow-Slow Foxy Face Bomb and in the FUNimation dub, it is called Slow-Slow Foxy Face Bomb Cannon. This was first seen being used against Luffy.[6] (requires 4 cannons, 21 movement)

    • Mirror Racket (鏡(ミラー)ラケット Mirā Raketto?): Foxy uses a hand-mirror to reflect his Noro Noro Beamtowards his opponent. The name of this technique is derived from how Foxy uses the hand-mirror as a tennis racket.[3] (requires 21 mastery, 21 strength)

    • Noro Marble Coach Devil (ノロマボール鬼コーチ Noro Mabōru Oni Kōchi?, literally meaning "Slow Marble Coach Devil"): Foxy traps his opponent in a chamber with the Gorilla Puncher 13 coming towards them. At the same time, he reflects his Noro Noro Beams all over the chamber using its mirrored back wall and Mirror Racket. Even if his opponent manages to dodge all of the beams and punches, unless they think quickly they'll be eventually crushed against the back wall by the Gorilla Puncher. In the Viz Manga, this is called Slowpoke Ball Demon Coach. This was first seen being used against Luffy.[3] (requires a scientist to create the gorilla puncher 13, 41 mastery, 41 strength, 41 reaction)

    • Noro Noro Beam Sword (ノロノロビームソード Noro Noro Bīmu Sōdo?, literally meaning "Slow Slow Beam Sword"): Using a wooden sword hilt as a base, Foxy forms an extendable whip like sword made of his noroma photons. The sword resembles a lightsaber in appearance. This weapon can create the same effect on the opponent as a Noro Noro Beam. However instead of merely slowing down an opponent whole, it can slow down specific parts of an opponent's body. By swiping the beam across an opponent's arms and legs, the beam can bind the opponent's limbs in shackles made from the noroma photons. This is called Slow-Slow Beam Sword in the Viz Manga. This was first seen being used against Luffy.[3] (requires 21 mastery)

    • Megaton Kyubi Rush (メガトン九尾ラッシュ Megaton Kyūbi Rasshu?, literally meaning "Megaton Nine-Tails Rush"): Foxy delivers a series of punches as with Kyubi Rush, only harder, faster, and with more punches. In the Viz Manga, this is called Megaton Nine-Tails Rush. This was first seen being used against Luffy.[3] (requires 41 mastery, 41 strength) - DPR: B

    • Foxy Fighter (フォクシー飛行狐(ファイター) Fokkushī Faitā?, literally meaning "Foxy Flying Fox"): Foxy fires a cannonball and slows it down with Noro Noro Beam. While in its slow downed state, Foxy mounts a small wooden glider with a fox head onto the cannonball and gets on top of it. With the speed of the cannonball after its slow downed state aiding in velocity, Foxy delivers a powerful punch onto an opponent. After delivering the punch, Foxy can jump off the glider and let it crash into the opponent, blasting them with the cannonball. This was first seen being used against Luffy.[7] (requires a canon, scientist to create a glider, 61 mastery, 61 strength) - DPR: A

    - a material object can be found or crafted and used to provide protection if used as a shield. This costs less stamina than an attack, but at the same time it could be overpowered more easily. Patch 1.0.12

    Pirate Territories

To balance for the fact that we're over 7 months into the RP and no pirate crew has gotten a territory yet, we've decided to give pirate crews a territory to start out with.

Each pirate crew will be able to create a thread in whatever sea(other than new world) that they desire. This will be their main territory. I will not be possible for anyone not on the crew to visit without being guided there. This island will reward the crew depending on how active the crew members were the last week.

The crew will receive 400.000 beri per level of active crew members in the last week, split evenly among their levels, after 25% has been deducted for crew coffers. In short this means pirates will have a weekly paycheck of 300.000 beri per level, and the crew gets 100.000 beri per level of crew members active that week.

    Cyborg
To make sure no one simply stacks one stack of cyborg for min-maxing, we're introducing a limit on the substats. Cyborg substats can’t exceed 1.5x the cyborg mainstat.

    Ex:
    Cyborg: 50
    - dest: 75
    - armor: 50
    - energy: 75

    Ex:
    Cyborg: 67
    - armor: 100
    - energy: 81
    - utility: 87

Otis, Hakipotence, Xatch and 10 others like this.

Highlights of this patch include starting level being increased to level 25 and those already on the level list getting 20k EXP. Other news is New World is open and WCI has been created along with its DFs. You can now create DF items too.

    New Starting Level
Starting level has been increased to level 25. You can still go down to level 10 by purchasing items with EXP. Players who were already on the list has been given 20,000 EXP which is a bit more than required to get to level 25. EXP listing is now showing total EXP earned, which makes it easier to update levels for me.

Disclaimer: If in the future we change the requirements for levels again, don't count on your levels changing, but instead the "total earned".

New World Is Open For Business
    Pretty self explanatory.

    Dial Tecniques
    Ball Dial
    Requires 11 Mastery
Allows the user to create (Mastery/5) big balls.
    Aquired from Satori
    -or-
    Costs 50.000.000 beri

-Punch Ball. Requires 21 Mastery. Allows the user to create (Mastery/10) big balls which upon impact, punches the enemy with a springloaded punching glove. Destructive potency Rank C.

-Spear Ball. Requires 21 Mastery. Allows the user to create (Mastery/10) big balls which upon impact, pierce the enemy with spears. Destructive potency Rank C.

-Boom Ball. Requires 51 Mastery. Allows the user to create (Mastery/10) big balls which upon impact, explodes. Destructive potency Rank B.

    - Ball Dragon.Requires 61 Mastery. Allows the user to create (Mastery/50) a dragon puppet made of 10 big balls joined together that explodes on impact. Destructive Potency Rank A.

    DF Items
    1. Must have the DF and a scientist with 61 in science with the skill to turn it into a weapon.
    2. Zoan only B rank or lower
    3. Must have weapon DF weapon expertise (like a basic sword MA of 100 doesn't let you use a DF sword)
side note this is however a custom MA with all the perks that brings...
    4. Anything other than a melee weapon needs to be fully approved by GMs before.

    Devil Fruit Object Mastery
1-20 Basic Mastery: Allows the user to wield and control the object in its base form but not make use of the DF.
21-40 Adept Mastery: Allows for the the object to transform in full beast form with Masteryx3 stats(can only use strength, speed and vitality stats) that can at most last for Masteryx10 turns(at 81 this can be endless)
41-60 Skilled Mastery: Allows for partial transformation. The object can sprout limbs or bodyparts, big or small. Needs to be approved by GMs individually. Lasts Mastery/25 turns at most.
61-80 Proficient Mastery (Ability to coat in CoA)
81-99 Excellent Mastery (Unlocks Unique special ability)
Allows the Object to create special attacks that are combinations of its weapon and animal (pending approval)
100 Supreme Mastery: Unending partial transformation.

    Humandrill Mimicking
Mimicry can only be used to learn one type of dials and one of the forms from Rokushiki.

    Weapons
    Weapons can obtained multiple ways
    1. you can buy them in the store
    2. you can "obtain" them if you have enough martial arts mastery
    3. you can "craft" them if you have enough science mastery
If you are a scientist and you craft a weapon for your crew member they must have enough mastery to use that weapon.

The amount of weapons you can have may be dependent on your specific martial art.
    Examples:
Cyborg destruction weapons use up "modification points"
    Science items use "invention points"
Gunslinging weapon amount is dependent on mastery
Number of Dials is dependent on mastery
    Ittoryu yields a single sword

    • Wood = wall/tree level durability (no mastery needed) - 1000 beri
    • Plate = small building level durability (11 mastery needed) - 10.000 beri
    • Stone = large building level durability (21 mastery needed) - 1.000.000 beri

      • Fodder: Fodder NPCs are weak, unnamed NPCs. They are usually level 10-15. If you are fighting a bunch of fodder, as long as your stats makes sense to do so, you may autohit them.

    Marines:
    • Marine officers(level 30 and up) will get a certain amount of level 10 fodder NPCs under their control depending on their level. If any die, they need to restock at marine bases.

    • Cipher Pol can also plant spies at islands they conquer, that will notify them of any player that visit. The spies will not fight.
    • Cipher Pol will also control level 10 marines, one per their own levels.

    Pirates:
    • Pirate crews have access to both fodder and named NPCs. They can be bought with crew money(to be determined price) but they will also be given a few (to be determined) to start off with. The fodder are level 10 and quite a bit cheaper. Named NPCs are available at level 15, 20, 25, 30, etc. but can not be more than 70% of the highest level person on the crew. If they die, they die. Description: Allows for the use of different colored hardening haki, such as purple or red. Colors must be approved ahead of time by GMs.
    Price: 10.000 EXP

    Navigation
Can subjectively help players reach RP objectives more quickly. Such as role playing your crew getting through a forest or city.

Think of having a navigator as a small out of combat movement buff.

    Time
From revolutionary experience weve realized that Time in its current version just doesnt work well with the RP, therefore we've decided to simplify it.

You no longer need to sync up with your fellow crewmembers in number of posts to be able to interact with each other.

If you are traveling to a location where another group has started RPing, you don't need to wait hundreds of turns. Instead, the group there has two weeks(real life time), or one turn, after the time your group would arrive, before your group can start posting.

Healing will last the same amount of time as before, but start from the moment the fight ends, no deduction for how long the fight went on for.

Travel will take the same amount of time as before.

    NPC Challenge Clarification
I hadn't been very clear on the challenge system, so here we go.

The NPC challenge system works the way can request a story to be made up for you to challenge a certain NPC that wouldn't usually occur naturally, specifically if you and the NPC are on the same side, such as you being a cipher pol agent wanting to fight a marine, or a revolutionary army member wanting to challenge a rebel in a country, such as Dalton.

In almost all cases, you will need to still travel to the location the NPC is at. If you're a WG member wishing to challenge Boa Hancock, you need to travel to Amazon Lily to fight her, as well as anyone under her command.

The exception to this is locations such as Marineford that essentially is impossible, due to there being way too many top tiers. Also since I can't see a sensible way for enough NPCs to stand aside and let you fight one of the Admirals 1v1. And even then, it would put WG members at a great advantage for those fruits. So any player(WG or not) can challenge an NPC on Marineford and a story will be made where the NPC will visit another location where they can fight.

    NPC Hosting
Due to a lot of "martial arts" or zoan devil fruits not having any abilities or techniques associated with them, and to take a load off of NPC hosting, we've deviced a simple system for you to follow when hosting. You will be able to perform normal attacks that makes sense with the martial arts, following the following system. Of course, for each rank higher, it will take more stamina. These shouldn't be treated like basic attacks:
    Regular attacks:
    DPR: C, requires 21 mastery, 21 Strength
    DPR: B, requires 41 mastery, 41 Strength
    DPR: A, requires 61 mastery, 61 Strength
    DPR: S, requires 81 mastery, 81 strength
    DPR: S+, requires 100 mastery, 100 strength
    Ranged OR AoE attacks
    DPR: C, requires 31 mastery, 31 Strength
    DPR: B, requires 51 mastery, 51 Strength

    DPR: S+, requires 120 mastery, 100 strength
    Ranged AND AoE attacks
    DPR: C, requires 41 mastery, 41 Strength
    DPR: B, requires 61 mastery, 61 Strength
    DPR: A, requires 81 mastery, 81 Strength
    DPR: S, requires 100 mastery, 100 strength
    DPR: S+, requires 120 mastery, 120 strength

    Special Items Without Scientist, etc.
Some groups do not have access to a scientist, doctor, etc. to create items for them to use, but that shouldn't make it impossible for them to access science items. There are two different ways to calculate these:
If you are modifying an item purchased with beri from the store, the cost will be 20% extra on top of the beri cost of the item.
If it's a regular item that doesn't cost anything from the store, it costs as follows:
Mastery required to create 1-10: 1,000,000 beri
Mastery required to create 11-20: 2,000,000 beri
Mastery required to create 21-30: 5,000,000 beri
Mastery required to create 31-40: 10,000,000 beri
Mastery required to create 41-50: 15,000,000 beri
Mastery required to create 51-60: 25,000,000 beri

Mastery required to create 81-90: 100,000,000 beri
