    :D:lmao::rofl:

    He has gained weight 15kg since he joined Shueisha. - That was a totally vital information, lol.

    It actually scares me that he is a Shoujo fan ... please be kind to One Piece, Mista Naito!

    Sounds more like @Naito to me.

    So this guy has got some experience with Toriko and what not. I don't know who he is but he does have some experience I guess.

    Thanks for the news. I hope Oda retains creative freedom as we enter the climax of WCI arc.

    So Oda declined crossover with Gintama, but Gintama's former editor is now editor of One Piece? Am I the only one who is kinda confused with this scenario? I mean, Oda declined Gintama, because he didn't agree with ways Gintama was portraited as a manga and former Gintama's editor for sure is gonna bring some of that to One Piece, no?

    It was more of a blunt humor on Oda's part considering it's Gintama we are talking about. That image of Luffy and Gintoki staring at each other was perfect, it suits the style of Gintama more instead of just being a typical friendly pic of both characters. If he actually declined the collaboration we would not have that drawing on display during JumpFiesta.

    I don't read Gintama nor Isobee, but considering Toriko has terrible pacing most of the time, I fear for this and the next 3 years (4 years is the maximum time any of them worked for Oda). Otherwise, searching into Google, Isobee looks like an samurai period manga. I guess Shueisha did this to put someone who understand about that period of Japan in order for Wano saga to go well.

    Gintama looks like the author has some goofiness in his designs. I bet we are gonna get some of that in One Piece with character design approval from this guy (yes, please!).

    Well, we will see. Congratulations @Naito ! XD~

    But he was offered to do a crossover with Gintama, like he did with Dragon Ball and Toriko. If he didn't decline that, where is it? Crossover isn't just two characters from different manga in one picture.

    Both Gintama and Isobee have samurai element to the story and both are gag manga.. That means..Wano kuni is going to be a gag arc! You heard it here first folks.

    With an editor of comedy manga? Oh, I bet it this will never end.

    Was he? I don't think it was going to be that big of a collaboration or a series crossover like with DBZ and Toriko as it was nowhere mentioned. Sandman_AP's translation only talks about the 'collaboration autograph'. Or does any collaboration always results in crossover between series? i don't know.

    What I got from this, is that he won't be a manga editor,he will not cooporate with Oda.
