Doubt it. It doesn't even have source. Not to mention Sandman hasn't said anything .

Also a lot of that stuff ,are quite similar to things he said in the past .

This could be fake, but those "betrayals" are why we read One Piece. It'd be boring if we could predict everything to the tee.

In fact, I'd say that "out of nowhere" shit is what makes OP great. You never know what's going happen next.

Ace being roger's son and shanks being at marineford were the things which weren't planned.

Need to see the original japanese.

If this is true i don't think Oda should concern himself with "outthinking the fandom". if you wanna do that over and over eventually it will go to shit. And so what if fandom discovers something? That only means they are smart and not dull readers

And what if Oda creates a perfect storyline - fandom predicts it - will Oda then trash that away and create something else?

    Is there a Japanese source?

I think Oda had already talked about the "reader's predictions" in another interview, although I do not remember it.

They translated it from @EMUNOPLA 's arabic. So let's see if he can verify and correct.

    The translation is good
Except "Senior" part, Oda was talking about "Senor Pink", he was told that Senor isn't a really great character, so Oda added his Past to help Readers understand the idea about him

The arabic to english seems fine but I think the mistake is from Japanese to Arabic.

If there was a japanese source I could look into it.

I don't know Japanese, but looking everything that was mentioned, i don't see anything that Translators might have translated wrong
    Everything is clear and obvious

It contradicts an interview done earlier where he says Ace being Roger's son and Shanks appearing at the war were unplanned.

Considering what Oda showed last chapter, I could see him having given this interview.

The translation above is based on my Arabic translation , they took this from me

The translation is very nice I would like to thank them and I hope they Put the copyrights xD

Regarding the source, this is not new interview to be honest, it's more than a year and I put it as refreshment and as a new in the same time because I did not put it before , Source :

Thanks. Your post should say that Ace being Roger's son was thought of later on and that there were no initial plans to have Shanks stop the Marineford war.

However Ace dying was planned from the start.
