I'm a writer, and I have experience writing speeches (I wrote one for a close friend who became Student Council President). I think I pitch onto this much more easily. :)

I can help over here. I am a writer myself and I take writing in high regard. I though lack information on the content I should write about since I'm unaware of the "journey". Writing an impactful speech about something I'm not sure of will be tricky.

Help me out with that guys, and also samples from what you write would be helpful. I can improvise if needed, and we can all edit certain aspects from each speech which will most importantly erase any lacking aspect found on all entries. With this we can guarantee winning this stage.

Apparently, my vocals are praised by the member I know as Zeffy, who is most commonly known as Vihyungrang amongst others... And he managed to persuade me to offer these vocals to this contest...

Basically saying, I can be the one reading whatever speach out... if you want that is...

Btw, you can also edit the audio and add extra sounds to it, like claps and audience noise and stuff like that is allowed to make it feel like a real speech, you'll certainly get extra points for it!

I am so so sorry.I am only good in writing nsfw adult content material?I can always help with proof-reading/beta-reading and some brain storming I suppose. Very few of you have probably heard my voice, actually I think only Divvens and Krasse have, and yeah, they can totally vouch about it being..awkward. talk to me about stuff on skype--I lurk there more often that I do here..!

Okay, if we are to write something, we must know what to put in the speech. The writers need Chroniclers to add history to the speech, and make it seem real. From the history, the writers can elicit a thematic message to impart during the speech.

So, the senior members have to answer this question.

What has happened to the Marines all these years?

So I had an idea in mind that if executed properly, can guarantee our victory on this event. Not sure considering we don't know what the other factions are doing but this gives us a great chance.

The concept is a speech through voice chat.

    The idea however:

Let's say six or seven of the marines speak each in turn in smooth transition, where we all speak shortly from our own part that is made into one giant transitioning speech, along with epic instrumental background music that picks up when we pick up, and at the end we add cheers from one piece marines going all wild along with justice quotes from sengoku, Garp, sakazuki and what-not.

This is simply the general idea of what I had in mind. I have many other things I want to include within this idea but I'll stick with this basic explanation for now. We can add and tweak many things but if we go through with this pattern, I think we'd be on the right track.

We do need an efficient audio editor who can synchronize our speeches with the epic BG music and also add proper cheering effects and kaigun quotes by one piece marines. We can also help find the cheers and quotes ourselves.

    What do you guys think?

I really like the idea but for this to be well executed we need people who're up to reading out some part.

you're the expert of us two in this matter so I leave this all up to you xD

There are already a few who can read,

    @MDN, @Brandon, possibly @Red..

But nobody has written anything nor volunteered to edit so far.

I dunno if I can edit it, if I have time I may do it as it is fairly easy... This'll depend on how fast things will go and how much time I will have left...
Otherwise I can just support people by telling where to (easily) find epic music, or sound effects, and how to actually edit stuff...

And we also need a main writer who can write a legit "speech" about the "journey" from start to finish

Everyone will take part in editing the main speech until every part has at least one element from the speaker.

Has anyone come up with a composition? If not, I'll try to do this later today.
