Many people don't actually remember Heki's feats and what he has achieved. I will use this thread to post info on Heki's feats.
This will serve to show that Heki worked to earn the rank of general that he currently has.
This is currently a work in progress. I will be updating it as I get Heki's feats. If you know chapters that show his feats, pleas tell me and I will upload them.
    NB:

    1. I didn't place all the panels because there is a limit to the number of imaged that can be posted. I have written the chapter and page number where all the relevant panels are. I just uploaded panels that I thought were important for some of the points I made.
    2. I am using the page numbering for kingdom manage from mangapark website. The page numbering might be different from other websites depending on the amount of advertising/job advertisements they have.

Gotta give credit when it is due to Heki even though he like one of the most normal humans in Kingdom and a pawn... but I think we could combine this with the other thread label General Heki made by @Zephyr

I think what is even more impressive is the fact that he is normal and managed to do all that he has.
It would be an embarrassment if he was a monster and only managed to achieve what he has up to this moment

His army is probably at half of original strength. I don't see him shining in this campaign anymore. He isn't HSU or OuHon's unit that can fight an army double or even triple it's size.

It's time for Yotanwa's army to shine.

    • In his first campaign as general, he went against 70000 men with 40000 men. That is almost double, 1.75 times larger than Heki's army to be precise. ch 372 pg 10
    [IMG]
    • Heki with 40000 men managed to push back and overwhelm the 70000 men. Hara even made a point to tell us that Heki was not flashy but he got the job done by using textbook tactics. This for me is the authors way of telling us that Heki is just a normal guy and that normal people can also achieve great thing by hard work and determination. He doesn't have HSU's strength but he has a good head on his shoulders and can get the job done. ch 373 pg 14
    [IMG]

    • Heki army only got moderate casualties after fighting the 70000 men army with only 40000 men. ch 373 pg 15
    [IMG]

    • In coalition war, Heki charged against a 60000 man army with only 3000 men and his unit was alone. He was the only unit sent out to break into the enemy formation. Heki fought an army 20 times his own.

    • Heki did a very good job, that Kanmei's strategist, General Beiman praised Heki saying that he fought well, that they would not immediately be able to stop Heki's momentum. Kanmei's strategist, Jinou, commented that their army was struggling against Heki's charge. A strategist of 60000 men saying they can't stop the charge of a 3000 man army is extreme hype and is extremely impressive. ch 295 pg 12 & 13
    [IMG][IMG]

    • Heki managed to not only survive this, he also managed to break through Kanmei's formation. This is what allowed Moubu to charge. Without Heki's brilliant success, Moubu's/SHK's plan would have been impossible to achieve. ch 295 pg 17
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    • During the Sanyou campaign arc, Heki (1000 man commander ) received 4000 people from Ousen and was in command of 5000 men. He managed to hold back Kyouen's army (10 000 men). He even managed to kill a lot of them unit the were reduced to 7000 men. He was winning unti Kyouen got reinforcements. That was an army double the size of his army. (Ousen and his men killed a couple of guys, but Heki and his men are the ones that killed majority of Kyouen's men.) ch 220 pg ,ch 220 pg 5 & 6, ch 222 pg 5
    [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

So, @Zephyr saying Heki can't fight against an army only 2 time or 3 times his own, does not hold water. He already fought and survived against an army 20 times his army and he achieved that using only his unit and without having monsters like Shin, Kyou kai, Mouten, Ou hon or Ten in his unit. Heki also managed to fight an army 2 times his size and an army 1.75 times his size.

Fighting an army 20 times his size is the most impressive thing any 3000 man commander has achieved and survived alone without help from other unit throughout the entire manga imo.

    --- Double Post Merged, Mar 17, 2018, Original Post Date: Mar 17, 2018 ---
Heki is just at the rock bottom right now, the guy is impressive when he keeps calm and uses his head.
It is for this very reason that I am gathering Heki's feats throughout the manga. People like to underestimate him coz they forgot what he has accomplished

Yes, but as stated rebellion army only numbered that cause of ordinary citizen. Heki had a trained army behind him. General Ryuu isn't GG level that can bring out innate potential of ordinary folks to fight a trained & proper army.

Heki didn't fight 60000 man army. He only fought a portion of it on the left side. Not even Ouki will be able to take on 60000 man with 3000.

As stated by Beiman it was Heki's armies power & as well as MouBu's speech. Speech is a great amplifier in Kingdom as we all know that.

He didn't break through anything. Kanmei just send 5K additional army to wipe Heki out. It's not called breaking through.

    Heki had terrain advantage.

And those strategies were devised by Ousen & Renpa. Ousen used Heki as bait but Renpa one upped OuSen cause he kinda used Kyoen as bait to lure out OuSen. The whole scenario played according to how Renpa wanted up until the point Ousen went to hide in his fortress.

I think you are confusing how fights went on, the gimmicks behind it. I am actually one of the few that think Heki is above normal Qin general level. But you are taking his feat out of proportion & using it to hype him.

    5000 man HSU, GKU , GHU would decimate 30,000 Heki's 40,000 troops.

Whether they were weak or not is irrelevant. What I was refuting is you argument that Heki could not fight an army that was twice or triple his own. Manga evidence shows the contrary.
Riboku was struggling against Sai when Sai barely had soldiers. Riboku even bragged about how he would own them coz he had soldiers and Sai had weaklings but he still struggled to fight them.

In the conspiracy in the court arc:
For HSU, we were told that they used overwhelming force to defeat greater numbers. However, when it come to Heki, we were told he used textbook tactics to overwhelm the 70 000 enemy and that he was not flashy.

Also when you started out, you said Heki could not fight an army 2/3 times his own. You never mention anything about strength. I show you he can, then you changed it to strength. Let us be fair and consistent. Heki has shown he can fight armies that are 2 times his, just like HSU has shown they can do the same.
I never see you saying the same thing when HSU destroys armies greater in numbers than them simply because HSU has greater strength and they have Shin, Kyou kai and Ten around.
Heki doesn't have monsters like Shin, Kyou kai or Ten in his army. He has average joes in his army.

Have we seen any other unit that went against an army of 20 times their size without backup in the entire series.
He fought a portion of the army yes, however, that doesn't take away from the fact that he was up against a total number of 6000 men.
I didn't say Heki defeated the entire army, Despite the odds, Heki went and faced that army head on and alone.
Heki was also not fighting a fodder army. He was fighting against Kanmei's army. An army that helped Kanmei defeat 100 cities.

Regardless of Moubu's speech, the fact remains, that an army of 3000 men was able to break through Kanmie's formation. We already saw what the presence of a great general can do in an army. Kanmei's army had kanmei with them. These are guys that survived fighting 4 states and taking 100 cities.
Despite that, Heki and his 3000 man army were able to break through them.

Heki broke through the formation. Kanemi even said it. There is even a panel that shows Heki broke through the formation.
Kanmei: "What an eyesore. Send 5000 men to the right and slaughter those men that have pushed in."
    1. The first panel I have linked shows that Kanmei, acknowledges that Heki pushed into his army, thus he sent 5000 men to defeat them. ch 295 pg 17. If Heki didn't managed to break through, then why would Kanmei say what he did.
    2. The second panel I have linked shows that Heki broke through Kanmei's formation. Heki and his men managed to kill an entire rectangle/square/division or whatever it is called of men in Kanmei's army. ch 295 pg 21
By break through I meant the broken in/pushed in. So if break through has a different meaning then this clarifies what I meant
    [IMG]

Heki used strategy and used the terrain to his advantage.
He thought out of the strategy and made us of it by himself
Unless you now want to say using strategy to you advantage is cheating.
I can't even believe you used this as an argument. There has been so many instance in this manga where commanders, have used terrain to their advantage:
    1. The entire war of the previous arc, Kokuyou was all about the winner being the one who had terrain advantage i.e the one who got the central hill.
    2. Ousen, made a fortress cause he used terrain to his advantaged in the Sanyou arc. Renpa was stopped due to that
    3. Shonshuiju used terrain advantage in this arc to burn Heki's food
    4. Riboku used terrain advantage I.e the forest to hide troops in their which stopped Shin from pursuing him.
@Zephyr, I respect you opinions a lot but this time, you just stooped too low to try and make your point. Using the fact that Heki used the terrain to his advantage to discredit the fact that he was fighting and winning against an army 2 times his size is just stooping too low

The strategy Heki of using the terrain to his advantage was though up by Heki, he devised it himself. Ousen never told him to use that strategy. Heki was the one who told Ousen, that he could be able to hold back a 10 000 man army with only 5000 men. ch 218 pg 21
Ousen, even praised Heki by saying he is adept at using tactics
    [IMG][IMG]

@Zephyr, I have spent the last couple of days, just looking for Heki feats. I would not post feats about heki if they didn't happen. Please go read the feats I posted to familiarize yourself with all of Heki's feats.
Have I denied that HSU, GKU and GHU would be able to decimate Heki.
I am the one who has been saying that Heki is not a monster like those guys. Never have I said that Heki would be able to defeat them.

@Zephyr, your argument was that Heki can't fight an army 2/3 times his own. I then showed you evidence in the manga that shows he did just that and even more.

Another thing is you are comparing HSU, GKU and GHU which have the likes of Shin, Kyou kai, Ten, Ou hon and Mouten to Heki's army which doesn't have those monsters. You then use those monsters to validate that Heki's army would be decimated by them. It is expected that Heki would lose.

That is a poor argument. A similar example to your argument woul be as follows.
There is a relay team made up of 3 average joes and Bolt racing againts a relay team that is made up of 4 average joes. When the race happens, to the surprise of no one, Bolt's relay team wins due to Bolt. After that, you come and tell me that you knew Bolt's team would decimate the average joe team.

This was a poor argument on you part.
    --- Double Post Merged, Mar 18, 2018, Original Post Date: Mar 18, 2018 ---
@Zephyr, here is another example of Heki fighting against an army that is significantly larger than his own.
In the battle of the Dakkan plains, Heki (1000 man commander) encouraged his unit and other unitsa worth 3000 men not to retreat when facing an army of 40 000 men.
So Heki with 4000 men was fighting against 40 000 men. ch 61 pg 7 and 8
That is an army 10 times the units that Heki was with.

    [IMG][IMG]

So in the manga we have sen Heki fight against armies that are 1.75, 2, 10, 20 times his army size. Hara has shown us that when Heki is level headed and not emotional, he can go against great odd and armies that are significantly greater than his own and manage to survive.

Maybe I could have worded it better. Something like this,

His army is probably at half of original strength. I don't see him shining in this campaign anymore. He isn't HSU or OuHon's unit that can fight and win against an army double or even triple it's size.

Cause Sei riled them up. It was stated by Riboku that to raise moral to that degree you would need GG level of strength.

In the conspiracy in the court arc:

I didn't think I needed to outright stated something so obvious.

Cause HSU always fights against a proper army. Not scrubs.

Going against a bigger army isn't impressive. What's impressive is how much you can accomplish against a bigger army. Heki isn't at that level.

No, it was greatly empathized that Moubu's speech had a great effect mentioned by Banmei & even Heki himself.

HSU broke through Fuki's army. GHU broke through Earl Shi's army. Those are the examples of breaking through. This is simply fighting & having an advantage.

Kanemi army had 60K soldiers. By the number of division in that army as evident by panerl Heki was fighting at best same number of soldiers there. Maybe a bit higher.

I am not blaming Heki for using terrain advantage. I was simply stating in a frontal war he would get decimated. And even though he was using WeiDei he almost did get destroyed.

Heki did indeed knew about that tactics but it was OuSen who mentioned it & asked Heki if he knew about it or not. Ousen praised Heki but as we know about OuSen's character he did that without actually meaning it. As evident that he mainly used Heki as bait. Heki even said that OuSen knew Heki would get defeated.

And Renpa predicted that the flow of the battle would go that way. KyouEn was just playing along with Renpa's plan to bring out OuSen's main army.

Fighting & winning are two different things. 1000 man can fight 150,000 man army. Doesn't make it any less silly.

Everyone was fighting forces larger than their own there. It's not exactly something that sets him apart from others.

Ok, with your clarification, we will have to wait and see then.
It is a matter of time till Heki is in a situation where he has to fight against an army with greater numbers than his own, if he doesn't die.
A lot of the Qin armies have fought when they had a numerical disadvantage.

So then, Heki clashed with Rozo and then Rozo died.

    That wasn't really a clash.

Seriously use the right term when discussing this it will cause misinformation.

Feego King Clashed with Rozo and Heki killed Rozo.

There's a difference between clashing with someone and just throwing the finishing hit.
