I've seen plenty people talking about gon losing his nen. But ging has said that it was fine on the world tree. Gon just can release it now. Why so sudden?
Ging is the guy who has constantly been setting challenges and training for gon. So I belive that he has actually put a nen barrier on gon suppressing his nen and gon has to grow even stronger to break it. Any thoughts?

Gon lost his Nen because he used all of it against Pitou. I doubt he would be getting it back anytime soon. His Restraint and Vow at that moment was extreme. Using all his Nen and growth potential to gain his peak strength. It is a miracle that he is still alive. It would kind of ruin it if he were to get his Nen back as if nothing happened. It would remove that deep sacrifice Gon made. Well that's just my opinion.

Remember that ging told him that he could sense it at world tree. So he could use it at that point

Gin is done giving challenges to his son. <Link Removed>/2

Which is a great thing. We will finally see Gon grow up, and HxH will turn ( turned already actually ) in something more serious, complex and "dark".
What I mean is that Gon will turn into a "seinen" character. And won't be a naive kid till the end of the manga like in any other neketsu shonen.

That would be nice. However gon ain't the kind to go and become a sinen all of a sudden. he will evolve so. I believe he will turn out into a ging ish guy

Yes, not al of sudden sure.

He'll probably come on one of the next boats heading for the dark continent.
Next time we see him he will probably be a total different guy, like Kurapika, see what happened to him since Mizaistom brought him ?
Okay, Leolio didn't change, BUT Gon has a really good reason to go on character development. I believe we'll still get good friendship things but he'll definitely change. This isn't One Piece, he won't be as childish and naive as ever like Luffy after Ace died, I believe that Kite's death will change Gon. This incident traumatized him.
His nen will probably change too. Specialist would be nice.
His jajanken is powerful but it's still a very childish technique. This lad http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net...me.png/revision/20140608145750?path-prefix=fr
using jajanken always seemed very odd to me.
I hope he gets something more sophisticated.
His jajanken looks like Toriko's techniques....

I don't think I can predict Togashi's writing but here's the most likely possibility, Killua and Gon will disappear for a while, like Kurapika and Leolio did after the Phantom Troupe arc, which means a lot of time. When they come back Gon will be monster-charisma.

This manga has nothing to do on a shonen magazine since Meruem appeared. This is still a shonen because shonen means it airs on a "shonen magazine" but it's totally different from any other shonen I've read ( well, okay, Death Note had nothing to do on a shonen magazine too). Well, anyway, nobody cares about calling it a shonen or seinen, these words don't mean anything actually. There are childish seinen too. Sometimes ( I mean, often ) seinen manga are just shonen with sex and gruesome violence.
