The new first year really look promising, especially Asada's pitch his height and long arms gives him quite an advantage.

It's funny how he hates his former manager so he uses his face as motivations that weird face...

no doubt Sawa will be the ace by his third year, he's already shutting out a nationally ranked team and just think about his numbers
He's only stable up to 7, imagine if he can get up to 10? or 12?
Love that he's finally getting his time to shine

    Yeah, I saw...
Really dumb of him, but that doesn't mean he can't be a relief pitcher.
In the MLB 99% of the starting pitchers get pulled when they've thrown over 100 pitches, just for health concerns and the pitchers arm gets tired.
Furuya would be an epic relief pitcher, throwing flamthrowers for the final two innings

Yeah, it was pretty good. Was hoping to see the splitter in action but I like the character development with sawamura.
and his acceptance that being the ace doesn't mean shouldering the world, it just means throwing one pitch at a time and letting your teammates defending take care of the rest. Even Clayton Kershaw gives up runs... a pitcher can't be perfect.

The best part about this manga, is it's realness. This is how baseball is really played. Most sports mangas delve into unrealistic things, like eyeshield 21 and how there players played defense and offense which would never happen in football. or kuroko basketball and the "entering the zone" crap. This manga does a great job of explaining the rules but also showing how players actually think and react on pitching and how to play the game. It's the fact that it's so well researched and formulated that makes it so good

I freaking loved the anime, and I'm just kinda waiting for the next season to start... Even though I have no clue if there'll be one and when, lol. Is the manga worth reading? Don't think it'll have the same impact on me, because the anime handled the feelings really well, in the way of animation, and sound. Like the clean hit of the bat, the nervous breathing, the awkward sounds when Sawamura was shouting, the dust etc. Many things we're great in the anime, but what does the manga have?
