Who has played any of the souls series from Fromsoft? My favorite is DS1. Tell everyone about your pain, suffering and many, many deaths....

I felt as though DS2 was disappointing, I love strength faith builds and the lore of DS1 is mind blowing...and sad...

DS2 was disappointing though and I haven't played Bloodborne. Seen playthroughs though.

Don't want to get too hyped to DS3. I'd be pissed if I cant get it when its released so I'm keeping expectations low. It better have some nice bosses and lore. The weapon arts sounds very promising.

That place is infamous for being a new DS player's worst nightmare. Guess what? It isn't mandatory except for killing one boss that you can get to easily by running past everything. There are two halves to blightown. One of them is not needed whatsoever so did you go the way in the sores? Cause that side is important(unless you want ninja set and power within). The path through the cave is where you have to go.

Thanks for the advice, I kind of gave up on Dark Souls a week or two ago and I was planning on playing again to see if I can get through it this time, and I hope I can do so now.

Youtube videos are your biggest friends. This website tells you everything as well.

You got online? You can summon people to aid you down there but you have to go down to the poison swamp(where the boss is to the topright in a spider cave) and keep heading left running past everything until you see a mini cave with a bonfire. You can potentially summon people.

WARNING: There is a NPC red phantom that will spawn near the bonfire if you are human. If you kill her, you can summon her near the boss fog to help(need to human). Queelag is quite tough for low level players but sticking to the boss' right will lower the anger.

ThE reason DS2 wasn't as good was cos, Miyazaki wasn't leading its development, he was focusing more on Bloodborne. Bloodborne was great, and DS3 is looking to combine best of DS1 and Bloodnorne so I'd bet a crapton of money its gonna be good.

Knew that but its still a shame. Everything is just artificial difficulty and never got to play Bloodborne(seen tons of gameplay though). DS3 will be great simply cause Miyazaki is directing it. Still waiting on more info on the story.

Yeah what I dislike most about DS2 were too libear design, bosses with ridiculous hp and too many enemies that are near unstaggerable. What do you think about weapon arts system?

So far I like it. It adds a new layer to combat. Even the boring weapons will be fin to use it seems.

The Ancient Dragon in DS2 has a crap ton of health for no reason even on NG......lets not forget about the record player tracking. There were a lot of good bosses in DS1 and a lot of bad ones in DS2. Which noses were the worst in DS2? For me its:

    1- Ancient Dragon
    2-Elena the Squalid Queen
    3-Prowling Magus and Congression
    4-Royal Rat Vanguard
    5-The Gank Squad
    6-Royal Rat Authority
    7-Coventus Demon
    8-Smelter Demon
    9-Old Iron King
    10-Throne Watcher and Defender

Yeah the only bosses I really liked in DS2 were Looking Glass Knight and Freja. To DS2's crefit, powerstancing was fun. I legitimately still like DS2, but it just pales in comparison (no Ornstein and Smough moments or awesome npc questlines like Solaire or Onion knight)

DS2 is a great game...just not as good as its processors and successors. I liked the Fume Knight, Ivory King and Sir Alonne.
