**This is more of a thought than a theory.
When Rayleigh met Roger last time, before he surrendered to Navy, he told Rayleigh that "He won't Die". And there has been many instances that show that Luffy could be in way inheritor of Roger's will.
What if Luffy and Blackbeard both r inheritors of Roger's will - Yin & Yang.
Since Luffy is good and doesn't kill anyone he's Light, while Blackbeard is the Dark.
And Final war will be b/w Light and Dark, i.e., Luffy vs Blackbeard.

EDIT: Since reincarnation was not too popular, replaced it with inheritors of will

Blackbeard being more than 1 person, or what have you, doesn't connect with anything else you said, tbh.
And no, I don't think that could turn out to be the case. It'd be too much of a copy from other series

Blackbeard is too much of a conniving coward to be the reincarnation of Roger. He doesn't share any of Roger's traits to the same extent Luffy does (though I think Luffy is Roger's reincarnation either).

Luffy inherited Roger will he's not his reincarnation. And BB had the will of D That's the similarity to luffy...I think BB like the anti Luffy

Luffy vs Blackbeard as light vs dark maybe

However I don't think they are reincarnations of Roger :(

Um... Blackbeard was 38 at the time of the Summit War, 22 years after Roger died. How can he be Roger's reincarnation if he was born sixteen years before he died?

Yea... Blackbeard was around when Roger was alive. So reincarnations and all that BS wont be happening.
If anything BB is carrying the Will of D just like Roger and Luffy. Now this will manifests itself unknowingly. Its not like Luffy and Roger.. or Law even know what the actual will is.

The generations before have passed a certain kind of ideology, even though that ideology and its origins are lost in the scramble of history. The core of that ideology hasnt died down, this is the will of the D. A kind of knowledge previous D's pass onto the future D's through acts of defiance and change.
