A couple of months ago, it was confirmed that the Attack on Titan franchise would be expanded to include 2 live action films, slated to be released next year. For those that didn't know, the films will have its own original story, incorporating new characters whilst still being contained within the world Hajime Isayama's manga created. It has since been revealed which actors will play which characters, and what their designs for the films will look like.

There have been 7 new characters added to the film, one of them includes Shikishima, who holds the key to the film's story as "humanity's strongest man."

It's been stated that, rather than look for actors who looked like their characters, actors who could replicate their character's spirit was sought after.
