Man Arrested For Selling Remodeled One Piece Figures

    Police in the Chiba Prefectural have arrested 30 year old Yuichi Inamura on suspicion of selling One Piece figures which violate with copyright laws and infringes Toei's copyrights.

    The catch is, these figures weren't your typical pirated merchandise! There is an ongoing investigation as to whether the figures were being mass-imported from China, it seems Mr. Inamura was selling particularly "remodeled" One Piece figures. The image to the left shows the police searching the suspects home.

    Mr. Inamura had a small business selling One Piece figures that depicted the series female cast explicitly (for adult audiences). The naughty models sold for as much as ¥40,000 ($500) on internet auctions.
