NOOOOO! Not Hannes! I liked him, even though he couldn't save their mom, he did take care of them that day!!!
And it seems that Eren is able to control other Titans as well...
Goddamnit Hannes! Why did he have to die?
He finally got the guts to help an he gets eaten immediately! Shit!
What nuuuuu I'm waiting for the translated chapter.
I think thats the released subbed one
That fucking chapter was amazing, I'm not going to lie....
So wait, Eren is the only one in the world to have a certain "something", is it the ability to control all titans or something? I'm really intrigued with what the fuck is going on here.
10/10, thoroughly enjoyed this chapter.
I've split the posts and created a thread for the new chapter discussion.
So... Eren has the Haoshoku Haki too and is able to command inferior titans, I see.
Awesome chapter... sheesh... and here we go again... one full month without anything! -.-
I was expecting that either Eren would go enrage and tear that titan apart
or that Hannes would fight it and get killed or at least seriously wounded or something like this...
I'm sure I'm not the only one... that term wasn't so unexpected. What unexpected was... was the thing about the Haoshoku.
Well... leaves us even more questions... -_-
Lol, Haoshoku haha.
This is indeed really interesting, controlling the Titans and/or directing their rage to someone, and they said "he" should be the last person to have it. It's like he's the king of the titans now, are there any others possessing the same ability? Perhaps yes, more questions to what the whole titan thing is.
And damn, Hannes death damn, just damn.
WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, read through the 50 chapters way too fast...think it took me 3 days..awesome manga, couldn't stop reading! So many cool stuff, and the mystery about the Titans is really interesting.
The Haoshoku (Haha, awesome @Bluesh) seemed like an awesome power, interesting to see the dept of that power and what it means. If he now can control all "regular titans", then that can mean the end of the Titans reign.. If there isn't others with the same or even greater power out there..
So much mystery in this manga, love it!
Hannes death was done well, instead of being the typical "I finally get my chance to prove myself" and actually succeeding.. he fails and dies instead.. like in real life in some way, not everyone will come out as a hero.
and Mikasa's speech to Eren thanking him for giving her a reason to live was done in the perfect situation.
Eren gaining the power to control titans huh, question is..will he have as much trouble using the ability as he did in his first tries turning into a titan?
Great chapter overall.
I think to "control" and "command" this power he'll have a few mess-ups first, and I think going to the basement of his house is gonna help him learn more. What I think is the main challenge he'll face if is someone else also holds this power, I'm guessing it's gonna be that the Titan's can be commanded by those who have stronger will/are stronger in general, so what if he faces another person with this ability?
Or is he the only one with this ability, that can also be possible. So many questions
Don't forget that the ape titan has something similiar where he could command titans even during the night...heck I believe he's the one who spawned them inside the wall too.
Indeed, that ape titan true. I had totally forgotten about that!
Finally caught up with the manga, this chapter was amazing though.
It was surprising to see Ymir choosing to go along with Reiner and Bertholdt in the end.
I can't wait to find out the true intentions of those Reiner and Bertholdt as well.
Slightly OT from this chapter: I feel as though the Ape Titan is able to turn humans into Titans.
I also have a feeling about that since we also saw some weird things happening in that village with humans possibly turning into Titans.
Yeah, and the appearance of Ape Titan just confirmed Commander Pixis's earlier deduction about the unknown identity of the enemy against mankind.
I'm still curious about the past of Reiner and Bertholdt, how they were recruited to become 'warriors', and their purpose for finding the 'coordinate'.
There are many unanswered questions and infact more new questions raising every chapter, hopefully it's either answered in the manga or in one of the side stories.
