Well well here I am again

I've got some news about Oro Jackson again ^^ If you read the announcement post you'd know that we have Halloween events lined up for the forums, and we gave it a lot of thought. I personally want to be creative with what we do, I want the events we hold to be fun and new (not something which everyone does).

After almost spending 2 weeks thinking, I came up with an idea. A basic structure that will give a foundation to everything events and member contribution related (by contribution I mean, being active, providing information to the wiki, submitting your art to be uploaded on our DA etc).

How will this work? We'll it's pretty simple. It'll work similar to the Trophy Points (Achievements) system, but here it's more One Piece themed, there will be a new field introduced called "Bounty", by default each members bounty will 0, this bounty field will ONLY be changed once you:

Win an event (starting with Halloween events, event winners for such events will be awarded BOUNTY) or
Perform an act which carries a bounty reward.

A FAQ for the bounty system will be created within a day or two, going more in depth to explain the bounty system. Here's a small example of how the bounty will work:

Member 'A' wins an event for which reward is 2000 BOUNTY, member is awarded the bounty.
Member submits art in the specific DA thread, member is awarded 'x' bounty.

Now, if just having a fancy bounty number show below your avatar is not enough (it isn't ) we also have milestones, each bounty milestone awards you a promotion to a special hot group called "WANTED" (for a limited time). The wanted group gets a special username color, a hot group tag to show off your contribution and some added features. As and when you keep reaching higher milestones the time you spend in the "WANTED" group increases, so let's say these are the milestones (example!!!)

2000 Bounty: 2 days in WANTED group
8000 Bounty: 2 days in WANTED group
14,000 Bounty: 3 days in WANTED group.

The above was just an example, but you get the point. We will reward you for being an active part of the community! Because, you are what makes OJ what it is
